My gggrandfather, Thomas Whitaker was born in KY and died in Alexander Co., IL. His father was either Henry Whitaker b. ca. 1767(NC) d.>1830(KY), brother Alexander b. ca. 1761 d. > 1838 (IL), or their cousin David Whitaker b. 1778 (NC) d.>1840.
