If you could identify where your connection to the Trogdon family tree begins and the maiden name of person who married a Trogdon it would be helpful in helping you!

Geography beginning with me and working back - Ohio 3 generations, West Virginia 3 generations, Virginia 2 generations, North Carolina 4 generations, Ulverstone England 3 generations and connections are lost - a record in a church traces to the 1400s to a Lady Ann Troughton!! Trogdons or Troughtons have a "Coat of Arms".
Hope this was interesting at least if not helpful oh - my heritage is English, Irish, Scottish, Whales and from my mothers lineage I get the German (stubborn) influence. Tim Trogdon
Hi, thank you for the kind reply. I just sent all morning establishing my family history back to William in North Carolina who changed spelling of name after coming from England. I have a lady Ann Troughdon in England going back to 1400 or 1500s but of course 5 to six generations are missing because of record keeping in that period.
I'm on my way to library (use printer there) to print about all my work there - I will send you a new post showing my connections back to William - maybe you can let me know which Trogdon we branch off from each other from. there are a lot Irish, Scotts, and Whales in the line besides English - now my mom's side has thrown her German in the mix - yikes a stubborn Trogdon - that is all we need!! Take care.
Tim - A toast to the industious nature of William in the new world!
Hi I am a Trogdon - Timothy in Cleveland, Ohio. My father, Donald C. Trogdon was born 1932 and sadly passed away in July 2000 near Phoenix Arizona. He was a Korean War Veteran. He had an older brother paul - born 1930 and a younger sister and brother. His family lived near Canton, Ohio in Rittman. His parents were Sidney and Ona Trogdon, both have passed awy in the 9os. They eventually relocated to Florida where they retired. Their last residence was in Tanatahassa, Florida.
If you have any information regarding my grandparents Sidney - brothers, sisters and his parents, etc. I would appreciate any histroy you have so far. Thank you, Tim.
So sorry for the loss of your family, And So far those names aren;t in my Trogdon line My line is from Samuel Marion and John Randolph Trogdon who was born in Indiana. I imagine your line and my line cross somewhere but not sure of where. There is a long line of Trogdons for sure you are welcome to join my website on here and check on what little I do have Just send me a request to join if you want. I am sure your line and my line at least has one common Ancestor that being William the patriot from North carolina. If I find any info on those names will let you know
