I'm trying to find my g grandfather Henderson. All I know is that my grandfather's name was Alfred Dee Henderson, born in 1897 & died in 1963 in New Mexico. I need help finding more about the Henderson family . My grandfather lived in Fox,Oklahoma.Then moved to New Mexico where he died in 1963. I welcome any help i can get . Thank you.
i found info on an alfred henderson married to an e henderson
he is found in the 1910 - Murdock, Quay, New Mexico and an alfred in 1930 & 1940 census
don't be frustrated by the spellings either, it might be listed as alfred g or b, simply because the person transcribing the information and the person writing the census did not fully understand each other.
i used ancestry.com their not bad either

my guess is he was born on the indian reserves and you will need to speak to someone familiar with the tribes
