I am lokoking for any help in finding my birth father. My father is a Cherokee from the Oklahoma area. His name is Alfred Eugene Thompson. I havnt had any luck so far if there are any Thompson's here that can help me I have very limited info on my father. If you are Cherokee or from this region can you please help me get the word to other Thompsons you know that might not be into genealogy and might not read this.

Sorry about the spelling. I'm looking for any info. on my grandfather James W. Thompson yr he was born is 1912 in Green County KY. He was shot to death in 1950, some say by my grandmother no family left to contact. I wish you the best of luck.
I am shawn Thompson And I am looking for Alfred (Gene) Thompson. I think he is from the Oklahoma area or Arkansas and my mother before she passed away told me he was an American Indian. I have no picture of Gene but I was told we look a lot alike. I would love to meet him and his family. I was told by the remaining family I have left he was a real nice guy. I do not know for shur if Gene even knows he has a son in ohio. He left before i was born and my mother would never talk to much about him. I do know he has some tattoes on his hand i think they were spiders or spider webs. and some names i think my mother told me one might have been frank but im not shur on this. When Gene came up missing they were getting ready to move to Oklahoma. If there are any Thompson's out there that can help me i would love it. thank you.

Hey there anyone related to anyone in my family trees, I would love to share information, We are from alot of differants states, seems we are spread all over the world, so if anyone should recognize anyone from my family Please feel free to email me and I will try and respond as soon as possible.
Well i can try, most of my family was born in Missouri, Illinois, but there were some that i had heard went to texas, maybe if we share our history we can find a link.
My Thompson line started in PA in 1700, went to NC about 1780, moved to TN around 1830 then into MO in 1860, then in about 1875 moved to TX. I have traced back 9 generations so far. My line of Thompson's ended up in Texas in the 1870's. I'm particularly trying to trace part of my line that lived in Lawrence County TN from 1830 to 1860. The head of household was David W Thompson who was about 65 in 1850. If anyone has anything in that area at about that time I'd love to talk.
