i am looking for information about the above, she was born in 1889, Rothbury, Northumberland, immigrated to British Columbia, Canada, there she married John Joseph Davis, and had atleast 4 children Elsie Mabel, Cavell, John, and Margaret. She & John Davis divorced in 1916-1919. I suspect she moved out of British Columbia and remarried. I am looking anyone who might have information about her or her life after she divorced.

I have ours going back to the Carlisle, UK area to a William Telford who was born in 1810 and immigrated to Canada in 1858. Somewhere I read that Telford was a name that really had not moved out of the "Cumbria" area an I see that Rothsbury is not all that far from Carlisle. Who knows? Our faily is all over Canada, some in Vancouver, AB, and there are lots of us in Ontario.
