am researching my grt/grandfather james swann. born 1827.scotland or england.he was a master mariner who married catherine ann matilda paisley in hobart tasmania, in 1866.son tasman born 1867.have nothing on him and suspect he died or disappeared around this time.may have died at sea. helen swan sulzberger.
