Joseph Wilson (b.????) d.1810 in Morganton, Burke Co., NC.. His wife Mary (unk) Wilson (b????) (d.????) petioned the Court of pleas and Commons in 1810 for the rights to his property. I have been unable to find any documents showing that these rights were granted her. They had at least one known son. His name is Joseph L. Wilson b. 1808, Morganton NC d. unknown in Iron Co., Missouri. Joseph married Eizabeth D. Piver b.1804 NC d. unknown in Iron Co., Missouri. They were married in1823 in Morganton, NC..
Joseph senior Wilson has a brother or possibley a son named John Wilson b. about 1790 and died in 1838 in Missouri. He is married to Jane (McDowell) Wilson. This was proven with Y-Chrom DNA test. They are haplogroup "H" and tested R1b1c7 which is the Northwest Irish Group. If anyone is related or has any info. or has had DNA test and test the same, please contact me at reodiat@sbcglobal.net.
