According to the 1930 and 1940 census he was living in Justice Precinct 5, Cooke County, Texas. He married Alpha Mae Sewell. Any info is greatly appreciated
I am looking for any information on John Smith, born between 1834 and 1840 in Coleford, Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire. He married a Pricilla Roof. They had a number of children - Freedom, Pricilla, John, Henry, Maria, Maryann and Aaron. There may have been more children.
The children Freedom, Pricilla and John were born in Gloucestershire. Henry and Maria were born either in Cardiff or Bridgend in Wales. Aaron was definitely born in Bridgend, Wales. The family moved to Wales after the births of their first children.
They are listed on the 1871 Wales census and in 1891 they were living in Neath, Glamorganshire, Wales.
I can't find any birth or marriage records. Any information would be welcome.
