I have been doing some research for someone else on the Green/sleeper family.
obit for Mrs. Myrtle Sleeper in the Ashtabula Star Beacon Feb. 20, 1951 is as follows:
Mrs. Myrtle Sleeper, 48, of 1225 Lake Ave. died at 4:45 a.m. today at Longview Hospital, Kingsville. She had entered the hospital Monday for medical treatment.
Mrs. Sleeper was born in Ashtabula Feb. 8, 1903 the daughter of John and Mrs. Anna Brooks Greene and had lived here all her life.
She was a member of the Church of God.
Surviving is her mother, Mrs. Anna Beckwith; four sisters; Mrs. John Rocco and Mrs. John Adams of Ashtabula, Mrs. Tom Parish, Painesville and Mrs. Anthony Dinardo Erie, Pa.; four brothers, Theodore Greene and Herbert Greene of Ashtabula; Donald Greene of Conneaut and Arthur Greene in the Chillicothe Veterans Hospital; six children, Mrs. Stanley Puklais, Rome; Mrs. Gilbert Parish, Painesville; Mrs. John Pierce and Susan, Rose and Shirley(Shurley) Sleeper of Ashtabula. There are five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Zaback Funeral Home with Rev. J. M. Bentley of the Church of God officiating. Interment will be in the family lot in Saybrook Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.

Funeral services for Mrs. Myrtle Sleeper, 1225 Lake Ave., who died Tuesday at Longview Hospital, were held Friday afternoon at Zaback Funeral Home. Rev. J. M. Bentley of the Church of God officiated at the services and interment was in the family lot in Saybrook Cemetery.
Mrs. Doris Eichorn was soloist, accompanied by Mrs. Edwin Vettel, organist.
Pallbearers were Stanley Pukelis (note different spelling), John Pierce Jr., John Adams, Gilbert Parrish, Boyd Boyer and Lorin Forsberg.
Among those attending the services from out of town were Mrs. Tom Parrish and daughter and Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Parrish, Painesville; Mrs. Anthony Dinardo, Erie; Mr. and Mrs. Donald Green, Conneaut and Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Pukelis, Rome.
I also have obits for Irvin Sleeper, Myrtle's husband, John Green, Myrtle's dad and Julius Beckwith (Anna's second husband). The month Anna died, the microfilm is lost from the library so I was unable to get her obit.
