Several distant cousins left Aberdeenshire, Scotland between 1840 and 1890, came to Havelock, Quebec. The second generation of the earliest arrivals moved a very few miles south to the area around Mooer's Forks. Some of these left Mooer's Forks for Waterbury, Conneticut. Edith Kellas was born in 1881 in Mooer's Forks. She married Alexander McRae and had two sons, Kenneth McRae (1903) and Joseph Donald McRae (1906). Mary J. Kellas was born in 1866. She married George W. McGregor and had three children, Elsie McGregor (1887), Irene McGregor (1890) and William McGregor (1897 in Waterbury, Conneticut). I am looking for more information concerning these family members.
I'm trying to find my grandfather and great uncles adoption records so I can continue with my family tree. They lived in Beekmantown, Clinton, New York. My grandfather Owen Patrick Conway was born in 1908 to Patrick and Bertha Conway, and had 3 brothers, Robert, Daniel and Leo. Robert was the oldest, then Daniel, then Owen and last one Owen. I am trying to find who my great uncles were adopted to, so I can continue with my search.
