I am looking for information on my mothers parents. Her father was William Frederick Shepherd (sp?). He was born in 1895 in Indian Territory (Oklahoma) to William Fredrick Shepherd and Alma McKinney. He married Lucille West who was born in 1905 in Dennison Texas to Samuel William West and Annie Martha Cummings.
Together they had 9 children; Leora May, Alma Louise, Horrace Eugene, Velma Nadine, William Fredrick III, Martha Ellen, Jimmy Ray, Betty Joann, Gwendolyn Sue.
I know that for a large part of their life they lived in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. I have hit a dead end with this line and my information is limited on this side of the family. I cannot find them in census records or any other search. Any help would be appreciated.
I'm looking for any info on my great great grandfather Alex Shepherd. My mother is Glenna Lester Shirley her mother was Rebecca Jane Shepherd Lester her parents was Leonard Shepherd and Judy Cameron Shepherd and Leonard's parents was Alex Shepherd and dicie Roberts. That is all the info on mt great and great great grandparents on the Shepherd side. I've heard that Alex Shepherd could have changed his name because he stoled some horses this would be in the middle to early 1800's. His name could have been Alex Leonard and that's why he named his son Leonard. How true that is I don't know. But for at least 7 years I can't find any info on them. They lived in and around Huff Creek, Welch, davy, Iaegar, Roderfield Pineville. I hope to hear from anyone. I had some leads but don't know for sure.

My grandfather was Clator Eugene Shepherd born to Clator Ernest Shepherd and Lillie Fisk Shepherd in Indiana in 1906. I don't know if we have the same people or not. I am just now starting to research Shepherd, hitting a wall.
