I'm trying to get information on Cosby Scott (aka Seale) he was born in 1798 in Kentucky moved to Tennessee where he married Jane A, Pickens .Lived along the duck river, moved to the Billy Christopher house. They had 9 children. They were married sep 13, 1822. I have his children, grandchildren. What I need is parents names. This is a brick wall for my family search. I have been to 10 other trees he is in and no one else has his parents either. I do know he wasn't found under a rock, parents have to be somewhere. :)

J.C. Scott was a traveler and therefore is difficult to trace. From my research I've deduced that he was born Sep. 1847 in Virginia and died about 1900. He is buried in McClain County Oklahoma. J.C. married Margaret Parlee Grider (1860-1944), known as Pall to her family, and had six children with her. The family lived in Needles, California at one point and also in Byars, McClain, Oklahoma. I think that J.C. helped build up each town. He was a carpenter and was on the schoolboard in Byars, I believe.
I do not know anything about his parents or siblings or how he got to Oklahoma and California. Any information at all would be much appreciated.
( Moon's/Scott's) - Fentress, Tennessee, Sevier County ) Trying to find information on William & Aseneth Moon's daughter Susannah (Susan) Moon Scott. She was born about 1829-1830 in Fentress, Tennessee, Sevier County. Susan is my brick wall,I need to know if after her husband James Tunis Scott died if she ever re-married and had other children besides the seven she and James Tunis Scott had. I all so need to know where she lived, when she died, where she died and where she is buried. Susan was my great great grandmother her son was my great grandfather. His name was Napoleon Boneapart Scott and he was married to Mary Jane (Purdue) Scott. Both were from Tennessee and later they lived and died in Casey County, Liberty, Kentucky. James Tunis Scott married Aseneth Moon (Susan's mother) after her husband William Moon died,and after Susan's mother Aseneth Moon Scott died Susan then married James Tunis Scott her stepfather. Any information on James Tunis Scott would also be very helpful. Any and all information on the Moon's/Scott's from Fentress, Tennessee, Sevier County would greatly be appreciated.
