Looking for my fathers family, His name was Herman Charles Schneider and he lived in Chicago, Il. His mothers name was Emma, and his sisters name was Carol.
My gr gr grandfather, Anton Schneider (1807-1897) came over from Elsenfeld, Bavaria, Germany and settled in Obernburg, sullivan Co., NY. Somewhere along the way he married Maria Eva Kasten from Lemberg e Lotharingia, Germany. They arrived in Sullivan Co. "around" 1848. I can't find any other relatives. Their son,Anton married a girl from the area, Margaret Froehlich, but for some reason they married in NYC. Anyone have any relatives in this Schneider clan?
Sandy was probably born in the early 1940's. Related to the Simmons and Gedalovitch families. Lived in London in the early 1950's. Lost contact when we moved to Australia. Can anyone help? Thankyou, Jae
