I'm searching for information on the Draffen Family. Vonciel Draffen (Jones) was my grandmother and was once married to Oscar Jones Sr., Vonciel may still have siblings that lived in the same area of Kansas City Missouri. Other relitives that are distant cousins to me are Willis Draffin (Deceased), Marion Draffin (Mc Cormick) (Living) and would both be niece & nephew of Vonciel.

I am looking for any information on John Wilson, father of Edward Alfred Wilson and husband of Elizabeth. The story, as passed down through the generations , is that John and Elizabeth either died in a fire in the St. Louis area sometime around 1865 leaving Edward (my great-grandfather) and his brother John orphans, or they died much earlier and Edward and John were placed in the St. Louis Boys School (Catholic) and they ran away when a fire broke out at the orphanage.
Either way, I am trying to track down information on John and Elizabeth. Any assistance is greatly appreciated. Edward was in Iowa by 1885.
