I believe that Edmund Powell (or Edmond Powell) may have been a brother or at least some relation to my ggg grandfather, Murphy Powell, born abt 1810 in NC. From what I can tell, Murphy Powell's parents were Henry Powell and Priscilla Beeson (possibly 2nd wife) who were married in Randolf County, NC in 1811. I've found a lot of information on the Beeson family, but not on the Powell side.
Looking for Lewis Riddle Powell m. Sarah Ann ?. Son of William Riddle Powell and Sarah. He is my ggggrandfather. Looking for relatives. Family moved from Virginia to S Carolina to Georgia and onto Alabama. My grandfather Harrison Powell and brother John moved to Arkansas in the early 1920's.
