My mothers maiden name was perkins and I am trying to learn more about the family line, I don't know much about my grandfathers side of the family other than that we can trace back to a cabin boy on the mayflower although i don't recall the name just family stories I can remember hearing as a child. Any chance you can help fill in some gaps if this is the same Perkins line?
