My father was born in Detroit Michigan with the name Archie Rice in 1914. His mother and father were from Allegan County Michigan. He was given up for adoption. I believe his birth mother's name could have been Mabel. I do not have any information on the father. Anyone from the Allegan county area who might have heard anything regarding the above, I would appreciate hearing from. If anyone has suggestions on where to start to try and find information on his background would be helpful.
