Laurence was my grandpas father, and I know my grandfather was born in D.C., his father Laurence was born in Baltimore, Maryland.. I do have a photo of John A Miller b1866 and his wife and a few children.
Trying to find more information about my 5th great grandfather GILBERT MILLER (b. abt 1803 - d. 20 March 1885). He was born in New Jersey to his parents, Gilbert (b. abt 1775) and Elizabeth.
He married Rebecca P Scull (b. 9 August 1807 - d. 25 Apr 1893) 7 Feb 1825 in Egg Harbor Twp, Atlantic, New Jersey.
They appear in the 1840 United States Federal Census in Egg Harbor, Atlantic, New Jersey (ref. Year: 1840; Census Place: Egg Harbor, Atlantic, New Jersey; Roll: 247; Page 15; Image: 34; Family History Library Film: 0016515).
Known child born from this marraige is a son, Parker (b. abt 1826 - d. 1901).
He passed 20 March 1885 in Monmouth, New Jersey.
