My great great grandfather was Milton Blair Miller who was married to Deliah Trussell. Milton Blair Miller fought for the Confederates in the War Between the States.
My great great grandfather was Charles Martin Miller, a brother of Milton Blair Miller. I have been researching this line quite extensively, but I could find very little on Milton Blair. I have also been in touch with a relative descended through William Eldridge Miller, and she was able to get copies of some very old church records. She has also visited the cemetery in Shepherdstown where Milton Blair and Delilah Jane are buried. She has posted pictures of the headstones on Ancestry.com. I would love it if you would share any informatioin you may have.
My dad and I are Martin Miller, I wonder if Charles Martin was a relative of ours? I do not have much info past my grandfather, James Franklin Miller, except his brothers and sisters, but if Milton Blair fought in the Civil war and Charles Martin was his brother, maybe that's where my great uncle Charles and my father and I get our names?

Hello, I am looking for any info on the Miller family from Scotland. The earliest I can trace was a Matthew Miller born 1813. He married Rose McKay, and they had a son, Matthew Miller, 1846. Matthew, jr. married Agnes Upfold, and they had seven children, Robert Miller, 1887. Robert Miller married Annie Kenny. They moved to America from Scotland and had seven children, one of which is James Miller. James Miller married a Boeger from Germany. Anyone have any info on this? That would be much appreciated.
