I am searching for information on and descendants of John A. Wells, b. 1806 in Franklin County, GA, and d. 1890 in Spalding, GA, and his son, William Butler Wells, b.1849 in Spalding County, GA, and d. 1917 in Montgomery, AL. William's daughter Cleopatra Wells Stanley was my grandmother. I can find no parents for John A. Wells. I also would like to know where William is buried (I'm told in Fitzpatrick, AL) and whether a Stanley infant, born about 1914 -- Cleo's child -- is buried there too.
