About our family
I'm trying to trace medical histories of other family members as well as their families nationalities (i.e. Scottish, German, Irish, English, Prussian I have found to date.)
Missing pieces

I am trying to find verifyable proof that we descend from Wm Penn's grandson, Gov. John Penn.

I am also trying to find info on my Great, Great, Great grandfather (thru my Mom) [Charles] Alonzo Morton, Jr..  He has an interesting story but I know little about his past except he was born in New York State; he worked for Daniel Robertson as a farm hand in Pleasant Valley, NE before he married my GGG Gma (Susan) Ann Morton (Robertson).  He fathered 3 children with (Susan) Ann Morton and one day he went to town for supplies with a neighbor and both men were never seen again.  The team and wagon also disappeared. It was suspected that they were killed and the supplies, team & wagon, and any thing else of value was stolen; then the men were murdered and buried in unmarked graves.  The perpetrators were likely criminals or American Indians, both of which were problems at that time.
