Abraham Van Wormer's parents
Abraham was born about 1754 in New York State, probably in Albany County; died 6 Apr 1826 in Tioga County, New York, USA. Genealogies state that his parents were Frederick Cornelise Van Wormer and Margariete Van Schaayk, but I have not found any proof of the connection.
John Boyer / Johann Beier's parents
The American Boyers stated that Johann was born 4 Nov 1780, but I never found any proof of this nor any confirmation that his parents were Frederick Boyer & Susannah Merkham Boyer. The family lived in Lower Towamensing, Northampton (now Carbon County), Pennsylvania, USA. Frederick is the one who, along with 2 sisters, witnessed his father's scalping and were captured by their attackers and taken to Canada.
