About our family
My family came to America in 1635 from England, Joseph Morse is our progenitor. Family lived in Middlesex County Massachusetts. My immediate family moved to Vermont in the 1790's and are to be found in Duxbury and Waterbury, both towns in Washington County. There are still descendants living in Washington County today, and some are still in Duxbury & Waterbury.
Missing pieces
Would like to find evidence of Benajah Maynard & his spouse, who are gr grandparents, they being parents of Alice Roena Maynard, the wife of Luther Morse both of Duxbury. Luther born 1824 and Alice born 1834, Luther killed in Civil War 1862 and Alice dying 1904.
