About our family
Our family dates back to approximately 1365 in Duxbury, England to a Gentleman named John De Radcliffe born in Duxbury, Lancashire, England.
He married on March 13, 1396, and had a son Alexander Radcliffe in 1416 at Ordshall, Lancashire, England.
After this the next person that I have researched is Richard Byfield, born 1547 in Mortlake, England.
My ancestors came to Canada from Woburn Massachussets with Philemon Wright. One of my ancestors (a great grandfather) was John Allen who was married to Lavinia Wyman, Philemon Wrights sister-in-law.
I'm hoping that by putting this tree on the net will add to the availability of this information for others in my family to research and add to this list.
Also I would appreciate any new information that anyone may have for me.
Missing pieces
I once had a copy of the book "The Wrights" by P. Evans, this got me started on a family history, and would like anyone that may have a copy to let me know as I could really use a lot of the information that is in there.
My memory isn't that good any more, and I have forgotten a lot of dates.
