I have several websites including this one that I've recently joined in order to network Louisiana genealogy bloggers. Our Story is the most recent website that has a few friends and family members that are from Louisiana. It also offers an RSS feed for newly added stories. The Blog Catalog offers neighborhoods and links to Technorati profiles and My Blog Log. These are just some of the websites that I've linked to and created in order to network Louisiana genealogy bloggers.
Geocities recently announced that they will be closing their free web service sometime in late or mid summer 2009 . . . SOON! Yahoo! Geocities hosts MANY genealogy related websites and I hope that the webmasters of these genealogy sites move before all information is lost.
For the time being, the Louisiana Genealogy Blog Geocities website is still up and will be until Geocities shuts down its servers. I am busy looking for more webspace and have temporarily found space at WEBNG. If you use my referral, I get more space. So please click! I've changed the link to the Search page on the left of the blog on blogger to http://louisiana.webng.com . Not many people visited my Geocities site, anyway so its no big deal to move. Not all of the links on the site work, yet. It is still evolving.
